Exploring street food in Sri Lanka😋

 


Exploring street food in Sri lanka is a fun and tasty experience . You can walk through busy streets and see many small food stalls.  The smell of spices fills the air and make people feel hungry .Chef cook fresh good in front of you and you can watch how they prepare each dish. One of the most famous food is kottu roti wich is made by mixing chopped roti with vegetables , eggs and meat on a hot pan . 



Hoppers also very famous and they  are very soft and crispy pancake made from rice flour and coconut milk .Many people like to eat them with spicy sambol.you can also find isso vade which is a crunchy snacks made from lentils and topped with a prawns .There are fish rolls and vegetable buns too,and they filled delicious curry.Some chefs sell achcharu, which is a mix of fruits with chilly ,salt, garlic and vinegar giving a sweet and sout taste . 


We can also enjoy boiled corn with cill and lime or spicy  chickpeas served in paper corns. Street food is cheap and easy to find and many people enjoyed eating it every day.It's shows the rich culture and flavors of Sri Lanka and gives visitors  a real taste of local life.
